Which phone should I get?iPhone/iPhone 3G:
Pros: Lots of cool apps, fun when you're bored, thousands of accessories to decorate
Cons: I already have an iPad
HP Veer
Pros: Compact, cute, organized, multitasking
Cons: might be easy to lose because of its size
HP Pre3
Pros: pretty large, cute, organized, multitasking, user-friendly
Cons: pretty large
HTC Inspire
Pros: beautiful display
Cons: Pretty darn large if you ask me
pre3 runs 1.5 gigahertz :D haha so excited for it. Having an iPad and having an iPhone is almost the same thing, because it fits perfectly in my purse, i have an app which i can call wiht, and there are cameras in it so i think having an iphone would be useless.

p.s. the pre3 is the one i am most excited for

Get the Motorola Cliq

I suggest the iPhone 4, but if you want a cheaper (and soon to be 'outdated') one you can get the 3GS too. Don't get the 3G.

I don't see how having an iPad makes a con for getting an iPhone. You can't call with your iPhone, nor put it in your pocket. Also you can use sync them, which can be really handy if you use the iPhone outside and the iPad at home.

Well I may be an Apple guy, you seem to be a hater. Let me react on your post.
- The iPhones 5 MPX camera makes better pictures than most 8 MPX phone cameras.
- Both run 1 GHz
- iPhones battery lasts longer and that isn't very long. Which means the Inspire has to be reloaded even more often.
- iPhone has App Store, Inspire has .. Android Market :)
- The iPhones smaller screen has a higher resolution: better display
- iPhone has more space (16/32GB), you can buy a memory card for the Inspire though
- The iPhone has cameras on both sides.

The iPhones functionality is greatly expanded by the large amount of available apps. Not only are there more apps, the apps in the App Store are often of a better quality than Android apps. Mainly because there's only 1 'current' version of the iPhone and Android runs on tons of phones, with different specifics. But also because the App Store brings way more revenue to developers than the Android Market. Just google the news, it came out today so it's fresh.

And yes, the iPhone has a native Facebook app, perfect Twitter app, push email, good Skype app, Yahoo! app, official Windows Live app and a lot more.

Why is this phone better than the iPhone 4? It's not a bad phone at all, but is it better?

Since you already own an iPad, I would not recommend going for an iPhone unless you're an apple fanboy/girl. My vote goes to HTC Inspire. Why?

Not only is HTC Inspire powerful yet sleek, but also because its an Android Phone. Android is the operating system that Google launched a couple of years ago and its just awesome. There are thousands of excellent free apps for android out there which you will love.

Some of the hardware specs of the Inspire like
- 8 megapixel camera,
- Dolby and SRS surround sound HD,
- 1Ghz processor etc
are much better than the iPhone 4. And unlike iPhone, you're not restricted to iTunes when downloading or sharing music. There's an inbuilt 4GB memory+8GB memory card included. too.

You can get a good deal on the HTC Inspire from Amazon Wireless - http://www.amazonwireless.com/dp/B004KZP3WQ/ref=as_li_tf_tl?_encoding=UTF8&tag=dfdifibl-20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creative=399349&creativeASIN=B004KZP3WQ

Hope that helps :)

Edit: Forgot to mention its a great phone for email and social networking too. Facebook, Google Talk, Push email, Twitter work like a charm. A very internet friendly device
