Q&A: Will a windshield mount for a HTC Hero work with the Droid Eris?

Will a windshield mount for a HTC Hero work with the Droid Eris?I am trying to find a low profile windshield mount for my Eris. Would someone be able to tell me if a mount which is designed for the HTC Hero work with with Verizon Droid Eris?

I am looking for a mount similar to the one found here:

I currently have a Body Glove Case on the Eris and I am thinking of switching to a shell/holster style. I would like to be able to leave the shell on while it is attached to the mount if that is possible.

yes, it will work, they are the same phone with the same specs, just different carriers.
