Can i buy a t-mobile phone But already have a t-mobile SIM card For it?

i broke my old UNLOCKED nokia phone and was wondering if i can buy a t-mobile phone (its cheaper then unlocked phones) but i already have a t-mobile sim card.

So can i? HELP
