the phone too has a w-lan, so hte question is : Can i connect the cell phone to the internet using the laptop as a router? or any ting like that?

a real dude
no, you can't! because they are designed to work as router and they can't take work from any other router

No, The "W-LAN" on your laptop is nothing more than a wireless adapter.

You need a "Wireless Router" and then configure "WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network)" on that router by setting up a "SSID Brodcast & WEP Key"

Then once you have setup WLAN on your Wireless router , on your nokia n81 you search for available WI-FI networks and connect.

There is a more technical way by sharing your internet connection on your laptop and using your wirelss adapter as a "AD-HOC" Wireless Adapter, but you will find that this most likely will not work as most "Phones/Sony PSP/PDA's" with wi-fi capability can only connect to a valid wireless access point such as a wireless router.

Well, YES YOU CAN! It is not the greatest method as a router is indeed a better converter, BUT all you have to do is us an AD-HOC connection!

Here is how to setup your laptop as a "router".. This will require that your phone can connect to an AD-HOC network, most can some don't.

and

or if you have VISTA
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/293c504f-b944-4d5d-835c-f080129bd5dc1033.mspx
(note: with vista you have to setup a PERMANENT connection or when you disconnect it will not be available again unless you start over,, be sure to read the notes!)

Once you have your laptop setup you can indeed use it as the router! Your laptop will have to be on and connected for this to work!

Good Luck
