We go hands-on with the HTC Merge at SXSW 2011. This QWERTY slider will be a dual-mode (GSM and CDMA) Android phone running on the 800MHz Snapdragon processor and the Android 2.2 Froyo OS. It features a 3.8-inch capacitive touchscreen (WVGA) and a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and touch-to-focus functionality. It will hit multiple carriers in the US this year (2011).
