Unlocked HTC mytouch 4g works in europe?Will the mytouch 4g work in europe if bought from US but unlocked from T-mobile (as it is not a carrier in Malta). Does anyone know, or even, better done it?????????

Well, since you have a couple of GSM-based networks there, once you unlock the device, you should be able to slip in the SIM and get voice and text services with no trouble. For data, it's going to depend on what frequencies your carrier uses for 3G or HSPA connections.
In the US, T-Mobile's phones use 1700/AWS/2100 frequencies for 3G. I've seen and read different things regarding whether these will work in Europe.
I know on my Nexus One, there is a way to adjust the data frequencies in use, but I have never attempted to do this. I can't guarantee you'll be able to do the same thing on the MyTouch, even though they are made by the same company (HTC).

It will work for voice, text and data over EDGE (low speed).
Unfortunately, for 3G data, this is the response I got from HTC support:
"I understand that you would like to know if the MyTouch 4G supports UMTS Band I so that you are able to use it with European 3G networks. Unfortunately, the MyTouch 4G runs on UMTS Band IV and would not be compatible with the European 3G networks."

Unlocked HTC 4G mobile Will work in any GSM network....In Europe Any GSM network work with Htc MY Touch....I unlocked My HTC 4G................................................From the T-Mobile....Now using in GSM network,.I unlocked it here
