i noticed the battery life on my nokia 6555 is terrible so i was wondering if i could purchase a diffrent battery that would LAST LONGER?

No! call AT&T they send you another for free thru their accessory Xchange dept you'll prolly go through 2 batteries before you get frustrated and buy a new phone

I've had the 6555 for about 2 months now and I've had to go get a refurbished because the battery life was terrible and the fone kept shutting of on me while it was in use. You can try to get a new battery, so far it has worked for me but it might not be the same for you.
