Is it normal that my phone overheats when charging?My battery says do not overheat it over 60 F but when it charges it go's over 80. Is that suppose to happen or is it depending of the phone or something and just in case my phone is tmobile hTC G2.

My phone did that last night in a hotel. Sometimes your electric outlet may be too strong. When it starts overheating, unplug it. You may have to charge it in small doses so your phone won't get damaged.

not really it's normal to get a little warm when you are using it for a long time. maybe you should call your local phone company for more advice

60F seems way low you sure it's not 60C most people live places where the temperature is above 70 all the time. And yes your battery will get warm when it charges that is normal.
