HTC EVO extended battery 3500mAH?Hey guys , I wanna buy a new extended life battery for my HTC EVO , I have few questions before i do it
Do i have to get a new cover with it ? do they have 3500mAH slim ?
Also i noticed that they sell them on ebay for very cheap , would there be any problems with the phone recognizing the battery ?

Yes you have to use the bigger battery door- they don't make slim 3500's. There's just no way to fit all the cells into the same space. The max you can get on a regular-sized battery is 1750 mAH. There are also very few phone cases that work with the extended battery, if you have a case. You can usually only find them on eBay. Personally, the only 3rd party company that I would buy an extended battery from is Seidio. If a 3rd party battery wrecks your phone, Sprintwon't cover the warranty.
