How can I unlock my HTC Legend for free?I am planning on buying an HTC Legend that is locked to Bell and would like to get it unlocked. Is there anywhere online that I could get it unlocked for free or a very low price? Anyone have any experience unlocking their legend or htc online? For those in Montreal, is there a place maybe in Chinatown that does it for cheap?

People on eBay are always selling unlock codes. You should check there first.

As far as I know free codes does not unlock your phone, so even if you would find a unlock code or whatever you'd have to spend some money.
This site has a nearly perfect and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums.

I used them to unlock my cell phone. contacted them and within 30 mins i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked.
