There has been several game software developers making games for smart phones since smart phones started being made. And some of those games have even achieved cult status. Even though some of these games have become popular, smart phones still did not become true gaming platforms in the eyes of a true gamer. But the release of better smart phones are very close to changing what gamers think of mobile gaming. Some of the newest games take full advantage of the hardware, and HTC has gone out of their way to expand the range of accessories available. Instead of leaving the shop with just a case and a screen protector, you might take some gaming toys with you too.
Not long ago, the first-person shooter was the sole domain of the PC. Now FPS games are available for every console and are doing very well. Now, we see them coming to smart phones, such as the extremely innovative Welcome to Hell. Dvide Arts has made a game for mobile phones from the ground up and just for the mobile platform. The 3D graphics, the atmospheric sound and the fluid motion are all extremely impressive. But perhaps what's most appealing about Welcome to Hell is its ambience. Played in a dark room, this zombie shooter is sure to create some lasting memories.
Perhaps racing is more your thing, in which case we present to you Asphalt 5, a game which will bring most Android devices to their knees. This RPG game takes you to a fantasy world as well as many cool and interesting characters. Like many RPG games this one also has a lot of enjoyable content. Another thing it does extremely well is provide a functional RPG interface that gamers will actually enjoy and not have to fight. Crusade of Destiny isn't a perfect game, but on a smart phone like the HTC Incredible 2, it's the closest we've come with a RPG.
