I compared the LG Optimus V (Virgin Mobile) to my HTC Incredible (Verizon) to show all of you who are interested in switching to a prepaid phone just how the prepaid measures up to the premium device and service. Reviewed items are as followed: screen size, brightness and responsiveness, YouTube playback, webpage load times, and a speed test (using SpeedTest.net app). If you want to see more than I have shown you, let me know in the comments and I will post another video. I have been very impressed with the LG Optimus V prepaid phone. It's definitely not the same as having a premium device, but it works well enough and you can't ask for a better price for the cell plan each month. I am a very heavy technology user. As mentioned in the video, the only things I don't like about the LG Optimus V is that there's no flash on the camera and no LED indicator light on the front panel of the device. The device is sold for 0 (and as low as 0 at certain stores), which is a bargain considering most premium devices cost over 0 when bought without a contract. Virgin Mobile requires no contract when you sign up for their service. PS - Sorry for the video quality. My HD camera is currently not working so I had to use my old, lesser quality camera.
