The Nokia N-Gage was ridiculed as being one of the most poorly designed phones ever released. The range of games released for it is so poor that it is not worth purchasing for gaming; as such, they have not justified the fact that you have to hold a gargantuan taco-shaped phone to your ear to hold a conversation.
The N-Gage was originally touted as being a great multiplayer platform; however, no launch titles had multiplayer capabilities. Also, in order to play multiplayer games on a hand-held gaming device, you need to get a device that other people are also willing to purchase... due to the N-Gage's unpopularity, other N-Gage owners may be difficult to find.
Apparently it's not actually too bad as a gaming platform, but it's a few years old now... you'd probably be better off getting a dedicated gaming device (i.e. PSP or DS) unless you can get an N-Gage and some good games very cheaply.
But you are asking about the price; I hope you're not thinking about buying one of these retail?? If someone has a second-hand one they want to sell, go for it, but please don't let Nokia profit further from one of the worst-designed products ever :)
Retail price will depend on the country you live in and the pricing models of your local mobile phone retailers.
