I have a Nokia 1600 prepaid phone, and I want to get a t-mobile contract plan...can I switch it? or do i have to buy another non-prepaid phone?

You'll have to check with T-Mobile to make sure it's compatible with them. Most phones can't go from one carrier to another, so you will probably have to buy a new phone.
