I have an Alltel Cell Phone Number and I hate the phone I have. My sister and brother in law have At&t and they just got new phones and I was going to talk about getting one of their old phones(Nokia 6103)but I needed to know if I could transfer my number without switching my plan.

Call Alltel & ask. Have the Nokia handy.

alltel uses the CDMA network and at&t using GSM so you will not be able to use an AT&T phone on the Alltel network.
