Nokia may have mp3 and wi-fi functionality, plus the ability to launch small objects into orbit, but the battery life frankly makes most of this useless. It may be the better phone technically, but unless you're prepared to charge it up every night, then I'd go for the Samsung.
In my experience, over the last few years the Nokia N series build quality has decreased greatly. The majority of the phones feel cheap, whereas Samsung continue to roll out high quality phones with a reassuringly heavy, solid feel.
