When i send a file via bluetooth from my laptop to my 6280 it sends it directly to the phone memory which only around 6mb.. how do i ensure that the file is sent to the memory card

i think files sent to mobiles are usually save on the memory card.if not try configuring you mobile to save files on the memory card

That's the same problem on the Nokia 6270 too.
It has to go to the phone memory 1st, then you can manually take it to the memory card.
But the phone memory is too small.. Your phone won't accept files that are over your phone memory.
The only way you can transfer that file succesfully is get your self a card reader or install the PC Suite that came with your phone.

Install PC Suite, select Phone Browser from My Computer and paste the files to the folders in Memory card. So it'll reach directly to the memory card, not to the inbox. And to the memory card not to the phone memory. PC Suite will b available from ur mobile CD or from nokia's website. Am I correct?
