Just put a lock on your phone and don't tell him your keycode.... or move the important texts to another locked file.(if yr phone can do that):)

or put a lock on your messages...
Go to setting>security>lock applications>messages..
but make sure you know your password..unless you never made one then it should be 1234 or 00000000
