nokia navigator/communicator is a good pocket because of its battery life and reliability.

PDA's are usually a basic digital calendar that you can put appointments into and contacts...all that good stuff. The quality goes up with the price as most things do. Pocket PC's are like a mini computer in the sense that you can have mocrosoft word, powerpoint, excell and stuff like that PLUS all the things a PDA can. I would recomend a Pocket PC because you can do so much more with it than any expensive PDA. They are more expensive than a normal PDA but if you want it to last for a long time its worth it. I have an iPAQ hx 2495 and it is awesome. I have used palm for years(a good PDA brand) but no PDA comes close to what I have now. If you copy this: iPAQ HX2495 and put it into google you can find prices. Yes it does run over $ 3.00 BUT it is well worth it. I have had mine for two years already and I have had absolutely no problems at all.
