Unfortunately the serial number isn't enough, you need this thing called puc code, usually you can find it among your purchasing papers.
Just curious...
go to 'settings' page then to security. the code is either 0000, 1111, 9999, or the last four digits of the phone's number. if not, dial *611 and wait for customer service.
