I need to unlock my Nokia 6060 phone so I can use it while I travel in the USA. How do I do this or where can I go to have it done. Living in Bangkok area.

Try to ask around at the many small mobile phone shops in Mah Boon Krong (near Siam Square).
Unlocking refers to the phone being able to "accept" a SIM card from a mobile phone operator other than the "original" operator.
It has been many years since handsets sold in Thailand were blocked.

Most GSM phones sold in Thailand are unlocked, are you sure that your phone is locked? You can easily find out by installing a different SIM card (borrow one from a friend's phone). If you get some kind of error message, your phone is probably locked. As the above answer stated, you can probably go to MBK and someone there will be able to do it. From what I understand, Nokia phones are very easy to unlock and involves entering an unlock code into the keypad, a very simple procedure, you can try this website or many more like it: http://www.unlockingcellphones.com/nokia.htm , try entering
