Nokia n81 problem with using album art?

I have a Mobile Nokia n81 . I want to put an album art to my music player songs ? I tried two ways: 1- put an album art to a song in windows media player 11 and put the song to my mobile but the art didn't appear.
2- put an image to the mobile and from the mobile i changed the album art and the image appear but when i deleted the image the album art disappeared although i have songs in the mobile with album art and don't have any images in my images folder what can i do?
