i have nokia N 97 mini and it automatically connects the gprs when i am not using any application which needs internet support how should i stop it ????? and if i manually disconnect the connection then in 2-3 sec it then automatically connects plss help

Hi Cool, I would suggest you put a dummy GPRS setting in place of your original one. this should prevent automatic logins by your phone. Some smartphones have programs that require GPRS running in the background which prompts your phone to connect. You should check the programs you have installed current and delete those that require GPRS. If you do not care for MMS MMS runs on the GPRS platform), you can also call your operator and request for the GPRS service to be taken away entirely
