Is there any way to jailbreak update 4.0.2 on an iPhone 4 ? they just made it illegal........ Why did you update it -_- theres nothing yet. All that update did was stop the jailbreak. I wish i could help, but you are stuck without a jailbreak. Not sure if this works but try going to this website, download the regular iOS 4.0.1, hold shift and press restore on itunes and then find the firmware that you downloaded.

As of now there is no jailbreak for iOS 4.0.2. but tou your advantage you may be able to downgrade to 4.0 or 4.0.1 to re-jailbreak it using jailbreakme.com. either live with it for now, or try to downgrade.
